2021 Season and Registration
Submitted By Brad McLeod on Wednesday, April 28, 2021
Good morning Baseball Families;
The executive would like to take a moment to relay the current status of the season and registration.  Please see the following and reach out if there are any questions or concerns.

1. The executive is hoping that there is still some sort of season this summer.  There is an ongoing uncertainty if the season is going to happen with the stay at home order, other sports organizations cancelling their season, such as OHL, etc.
2. Parents, please understand that if your child or children do want to play this summer, they need to register so that we can finalize numbers for the teams.  COHORTS will be involved with this season and as of right now, only 50 players per cohort, which means average 12 players per team and 4 teams per division.
3. If at any time after registration, if any players want to still play, this puts the cohorts at risk as well as the division.  Registering ahead of time is the best case to help not only our organization, but the league.
4. Registration has been moved out 2 weeks until May 14th.  This is a week before the stay at home order stopping and may provide a better insight of this summer's season.
5. If your child is not registered, there is a chance that he/she may not be able to play if teams and/or cohorts are filled.  The executive does not want to turn away any kids, but planning is necessary to ensure all kids are safe this summer if baseball continues.
6. There is still not charge in advance for registration.  Once a season is definitely confirmed, then the executive will collect registration fees from the parents.

If anyone has any questions or concerns, please contact me or other members of the executive.
Thank you, and stay safe.
Brad McLeod

    Great News Baseball Families. Tonight we had the first meeting for LDBA to see where we are at and what this summer looks like for baseball.  Everything was positive and it appears that there will be some sort of season this summer.
